Hi! Welcome to my blog. I’m Sara Levin theartfulinker. And, it’s time for another scrapbook layout and the Scrapbooking Global April 2020 Blog Hop! As always, the design team and our guests have some wonderful inspiration for using your Stampin’ Up! products in your scrapbooking.

Scrapbooking Global April 2020 Blog Hop

The theme for this month’s Scrapbooking Global creations is
Blast From The Past.
So, we’re all creating pages that either use old photos OR creating with a style that nods to the past.

I have a photo from when my daughter was a little girl.
We were visiting family and took a break to visit the park to get some of the wiggles out.
Her clothes were in primary colors and coincidentally, so was the play equipment.
It’s like they were made for each other!
Slides were a favorite!!
But, I would guess they’re a favorite of most children.
The snap catches her right at the top of the slide before descending into the tube.
What fun!
To create the slide, I traced round objects for the opening (a brie box and vinegar bottle).
Then, I free handed the slide shape bringing in my Layering Oval dies to trace for the curves.
For my stamping, I used stamps from the No Matter The Weather March 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit.
I love that when you’re done with a kit, you still have the exclusive stamp set and ink spot to play with!!

You certainly have had some fun with this one Sara! What a clever idea to create a slide, I can imagine how well the photo fits in with the bright colours and clean lines. I wonder if your daughter remembers the day? x
Thanks, Sharni! I’m guessing that she probably doesn’t remember since I don’t think I would without the photo. So, take those photos!
Well you certainly got creative with this concept, I love it!
Thanks, Cynthia! Don’t know whether to say it was out of the box thinking or inside an old box thinking – LOL. But, it was fun.
Amazing design detail in coordinating with the colours and photos!! How fun!
Thanks, Julia! This should be the perfect layout for that photo.
Love your take on the theme and your creativity in creating the slide. TFS!
Thanks, Sherry! I had fun thinking about how to execute this month’s theme.

Ton tracé jaune et super. En effet, tu as utilisé une vieille technique de scrap
