These guys are a joy to color. And don’t think of them as just for little kids. In my studio, I’ll be using them to create for my grown up friends. Just as I did in the card below.
Adorable Owls Dimensional Card
This little adorable owl is just flying off to greet you!
You’ll love playing with this card’s color combination of Pool Party, Early Espresso and Evening Evergreen.
You’ll create the look of the tree trunk using the Layering Diorama Dies — they’re a wonder for creating all kinds of details for your cards!
Then, you’ll emboss with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder.
Can you believe how great those leafy bunches look embossed with the Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder from the January April 2023 Mini Catalog? I love how they turned out!!
It was so easy to give this cute owl some additional personality with a little color! For that I used my favorite coloring tool – Stampin’ Blends.
Check out the video below to see how I layered the color.
And to finish the card, I added the sentiment on a strip of Pool Party. As you can see, I edited it a little bit.
This makes it perfect for a just saying “hi” kind of card to send to one of my friends I haven’t seen recently.
