Hi! I’m Sara Levin theartfulinker. Welcome to my blog. Today, I’m sharing a Rooted in Nature scrapbook page that I made for this week’s The Spot Creative Challenge. I’ve used a fun coloring blocking technique for the page border and have shared a video so you can give it a try!

This week’s The Spot Creative Challenge 123

asks you to make a a scrapbook page or mini album.

We’d love for you to play along!

And, you don’t need a blog to participate.

Rooted in Nature Scrapbook Page

For this scrapbook page,

you’ll use a color combo of: Coastal Cabana, Just Jade, Granny Apple Green and Bumblebee

to create the color blocked border around the page.

Then, you’ll stamp leaves from Loyal Leaves directly on the scrapbook page.

Next, stamp a few leaves from Rooted in Nature and Loyal Leaves on Whisper White.

I chose to fussy cut all of my leaves.

But there are coordinating Nature’s Roots Dies that you can use for some of the leaves.

Over the leaves, you’ll use a Whisper White wreath cut with the Wreath Builder Dies.

This piece lightens the feel of the arranged leaves.

After adding the sentiment and photo matte, embellish with Playing with Patterns Resin Dots and In Color Enamel Dots.

Here’s a quick technique video showing how to create the color blocks for the border.
