Hi!  Welcome to my blog.  I’m Sara Levin the artful inker.  I’ve been a little hit and miss lately — computer problems.  But, I’m still here…still creating…still sharing…still accepting orders.  Today, I’m sharing a Rooted in Nature Gift Tag and a quick and easy bonus idea!

 

Rooted in Nature Gift Tag

 

 

Once I get past Thanksgiving, I’m thinking more about

gifts and wrapping, table and home decor, etc.

To make this gift tag, you’ll start with a piece of Very Vanilla

cut with the second largest plain Layering Circle.

With the 1/8″ Handheld Circle Punch,

cut a hole near the top of the Very Vanilla.

Then, stamp the wood slice from Rooted in Nature

in Crumb Cake on Very Vanilla.

Use your Paper Snips to cut it out by hand.

 

 

Thread Braided Linen Trim through the hole then,

add the slice with Dimensionals.

Next, use the Sweetly Stitched Framelits to cut Blushing Bride.

After cutting a couple of Gold Glimmer Paper sprigs with the Sprig Punch,

adhere with the tree on top with Dimensionals.

 

 

Then, inspiration struck and I thought that quick and easy tag

would make great card candy.

For the base, use Blushing Bride.

Next, cut a piece of Very Vanilla to 4″ x 5-1/4″.

After layering it with Tranquil Textures designer paper (3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″).

adhere the stack with Dimensionals.

 

 

Use 1/2″ strips of Very Vanilla and emboss the stitched pattern

with Sweetly Stitched Framelits.

You probably have this width in your scraps.

After gluing the strips down, add the Rooted in Nature tag aka card candy.

Then, finish with some gold Metallics Assortment Sequins.
