Rooted in Nature Be You Card

 

 

I can’t say often enough how much I love the new Stampin’ Up! color palette!

And while these colors aren’t new, the new palette has me using colors

that have been less well loved in the past.

For this card, I used a Night of Navy base with a Calypso Coral layer.

Then, I used a variety of leaf stamps from Rooted in Nature to

create a random pattern background on the Very Vanilla layer.

 

 

Next, I added some Copper Trim with some Night of Navy Baker’s Twine.

After stamping the wood slice in Sahara Sand, I fussy cut it

and adhered it with Dimensionals.

Tucked behind the slice, I added a pair of Vellum leaves I cut with

the Nature’s Roots Framelits and then

embossed using an additional framelit and Embossing Mats.

Using my Stamparatus to stamp, I first used washi to mask off two different sentiments.

Then, I layered the Very Vanilla sentiment layer on a piece of Night of Navy

and angle cut.

To finish the card, I added some Copper Metallic Sequins.
