We’ve had exciting news here today! My daughter received her college acceptance to the school she most wants to attend and the only one for which she completed an application. It’s been a little edge of our seats nail biting around here while we waited for a response. Whew! and Yippee!! one more thing off the long list of “to do’s” for this year. And of course C-O-N-G-R-A-T-U-L-A-T-I-O-N-S to her!!! I’m so excited for her!!
I thought I’d take a few minutes to post one of the boxes we’ll be making in tonight’s Pyramid Pals class. I’ve got a little bit of time between my daughter leaving for a concert and the class beginning.
I used the Pyramid Pals Thinlits.
Let me just say, you’re going to LOVE them!!
Cute, Cute, Cute (and easy) boxes.
I made my box in Mint Macaron and accented it with triangles of Botanical Garden designer paper. I was thrilled to see that the Pyramid Pals Thinlits set came with a triangle thinlit that’s perfect for decorating the side panels of this box.
I’ve experimented with options for closing the box,
and for this one, I used a piece of Mint Macaron Dotted Lace Trim. To add a little extra flair, I laced a piece of Gold Sequin Trim through the bow.
This box would make lovely wrapping for one special gift or be beautiful on a celebratory table as a little something for each guest.
Thanks for stopping by.
