Back to the routine today. I can’t believe summer is almost over! What??? Yes, you know when it comes time for uniforms to be readied that Orchestra and Band Camps are right around the corner. Though it does signal the beginning of the end of summer, I enjoyed spending my morning with friends as we got things together for the coming year. In fact that’s one of the things that I enjoy about volunteering, the people with whom you get to spend time. And PLxSU fit right in with a busy routine!
It’s the same with being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator. I get to meet and spend time with new people all the time, many of whom join my circle of friends. Most of us have a need to spend time with others and the bonus is when you do it with me you get to be creative as well. Believe it or not, we all also need to be creative. I can’t count the number of times someone has said to me, “I didn’t know I would enjoy this.” THIS being creativity/crafting with Stampin’ Up! products.
I know I’m probably preaching to the choir as they say. If not, give me a call and let’s set up a time so that you can see just how much fun THIS is.

I did a little more unpacking today and found my Project Life by Stampin’ Up! layout that I put together in the Product Playground at Convention. I had forgotten all about it. But I have to say, I’m as pleased seeing it today as I was when I completed it. Memory keeping couldn’t be easier. And where Memory Keeping is involved, I need easy.
Here’s my page – this could be my favorite size (6″x8″):
In the Product Playground, we were able to play with Blendabilities and the lantern image from Today & Everyday. I already loved the Blendabilities but was thrilled to get to play with this stamp. It hasn’t become part of my collection….yet. In another area of the Playground, we had the opportunity to put together a Project Life by Stampin’ Up! page.
Let’s talk S-I-M-P-L-E . I stamped my journaling card with “Remember This” from the Project Life Remember This stamp set. The Inspire, Create, Share card had been created in My Digital Studio. Finally there was a background piece of Lost Lagoon. Using the Project Life Corner Punch, I randomly rounded corners and then popped everything into the pockets. 1, 2, 3 easy as can be. I don’t think I’ve ever created a page in less than 5 minutes.
I’ll add a couple of pictures to the other side and some journaling and I have my completed Convention scrapbook memory keeping page.
