In case you haven’t noticed, I’m not one to do just what’s in a kit. That’s not to say that the kit and intended design are bad. I just enjoy bringing additional ideas to life.
When I saw the Hello Life Project Kit in the Occasions Catalog, I immediately thought a whole slew of things: vision/goal board; mood board; kid’s art board; grandparent’s brag board; display board; organizational board; teens and college student ephemera board, seasonal decor board, etc.
My daughter begged me to let her at one of the Hello Life kits. (I’m going to need more!) I thought I’d share what a teenager did with the kit. BTW, there are so many great pieces in this kit! There will be a load of cards and even scrapbook and Project Life pages made with the leftovers.
This board is part inspiration, part organization and part memory keeping.
In one corner, Day by Day stamps were used to create a calendar. And My Digital Studio was used to create a tag for her “emergency” hot chocolate — for those late nights studying.
She loves to dance! And the die cut F-U-N are a reminder to have some fun in her busy schedule.
By the banner are a framed drawing (we don’t see as many of these as we used to) and a chemistry pun. She loves a good play on words.
And like many other teenagers, she likes fashion. This is a current favorite.
I hope you’re inspired to give the Hello Life kit a whirl! I know I’ve got plans for a few more.
