I’m stuck! I’m stuck on For All Things. I’m stuck on wreaths. And, I’m stuck creatively. I mean, do you ever have an idea that just won’t quite finish forming? I felt that way yesterday. I had this idea to make the bundled stems in For All Things into a wreath. After doing that it was sort of, “Okay, now what?” Apparently I was creating on the all day plan.
But, it’s really a simple card.
As I mentioned above, I used the bundled stems to stamp my wreath image. The colors are Rich Razzleberry on the bottom and then Mossy Meadow. With the Mossy Meadow each time I inked, I stamped twice so that I got a full strength darker image and then a lighter tone of the same color. It gives a little more depth.Using the 2 3/8 scallop punch, I cut my stamped piece and then ran it through the Big Shot to cut the center with a Circles framelit. The next layer down is a piece of Rich Razzleberry cut with the Wonderful Wreath framelit. I love the added texture this shape gives.
Next is a piece of Very Vanilla embossed with the Zigzag folder. This is followed by a layer of Blackberry Bliss and a base of Mossy Meadow.
Finally, the card needed some light embellishment. I used a piece of Color Me Autumn washi as ribbon and added a few Gold sequins.
Though it took me all day to figure out what I wanted, it really is a quick and easy card.
Now don’t let me forget!
