Last year, Stampin’ Up! offered a free monthly calendar wallpaper download that could be used as a screen saver, etc. on your computer. Well, the free downloads are still available. So what if the calendar is outdated, the artwork is still great. I decided to play with the February download for a couple of minutes and see what I could quickly create. Here’s what I did:

On the left is the original and on the right is what I created from the original wallpaper. I used a punch to cover the calendar and then used the color match tool to fill the punch with matching color. The original wallpaper piece was added to a full sized page. I added heart punches, then reshaped and filled them before dropping them across the page. There’s a Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch across the top of the wallpaper with a white drop shadow. And finally, two tag punches on the left. One is filled with text (Coca-Cola font) and has an Old Olive mat. The other is filled with designer paper that has been shrunk so that the print is an appropriate size. All this page needs to be scrapbook ready is a cute photograph.
Go to my store to see all of the freebie downloads. Then pull out My Digital Studio and see what you can create with them.
