Hi! Welcome to my blog.  I’m Sara Levin the artful inker.  I was so excited by the Picked for You stamp set in the catalog!  I love the texture that the three layers of stamps create.  Using it, I created a Picked for You Clean and Simple card.

Picked for You Clean and Simple Card

 

 

For this card, I started with a Thick Whisper White base.

Then, I added a layer of Real Red to add just a touch of color and

to create a narrow mat for the focal layer.

 

 

In the center of the card, I stamped two steps of the Picked for You apple in Real Red

and cut it out.

Next, I stamped the sentiment on Vellum and heat embossed before

cutting it out with a Stitched Shapes square.

After layer the apple core and the Vellum, I adhered them to a Whisper White

Stitched Shapes square.

 

 

For the Whisper White layer, I embossed with the

Hexagons dynamic embossing folder.

As you can see, I used the de-bossed side.

 

 

Between the sentiment layer and the card,

I added Gold Mini Sequin Trim and 1/8″ Real Red Ribbon.

And to finish the card, I added a single Rhinestone.
