I had to play with Pick a Pumpkin again today! The response to yesterday’s blue pumpkins was amazing!! Thank you!! And thank you to those of you who informed me that blue pumpkins are used at Halloween to indicate you have allergen free treats to share with trick or treaters. I hadn’t known that! Now swerving back to today, I’ve created some Pick a Pumpkin Petal Garden cards. I hope you’ll enjoy these too!

Pick a Pumpkin Petal Garden

I had a few pieces of Petal Garden designer paper scattered on my “desk”.
When I spotted them last night, I had an aha kind of creative moment.
That’s how I ended up creating a set of 3″ x 3″ note cards.
Here are a couple of the cards in the set.

The first piece I looked at was this Pool Party design.
It made me think of Cinderella’s carriage.
For this card, I used “leftovers” from yesterday’s cards.
The Silver Glimmer Paper pumpkin is made of negative pieces from the Patterned Pumpkins die.
Then, I stamped a Pick a Pumpkin image in Dapper Denim.
Next, I used the stars that are also negative pieces from one of the dies.
Finally, the envelope is finished with a narrow strip of Petal Garden designer paper.

The second card in the pack is in pink and purple.
Again using the Pick a Pumpkin stamps, I stamped in Rich Razzleberry and Sweet Sugarplum.
Using the Patterned Pumpkins Thinlits, I cut out the pumpkins and a Copper Foil vine.
To finish this card, I added a few Metallics Assortment Sequins.
And for the envelope, there’s another narrow strip of designer paper.
