Petite Petals for Easter

I enjoyed a wonderful day today with my friend Janet.  She came by this morning and we made the Spring banner from this post.  When we were through, we headed out for a girls’ lunch.  It was a terrific way to spend the day.

Since I’ve got a little time between “taxi” runs, I thought I’d spend a quick few minutes being creative.  I decided to play with a piece I had left from the Berry Baskets that I made last week.  I’ve spent the week picking this panel up and moving it around.  I guess it was begging to be used.

Here’s how I used it:

This Berry Basket panel made the perfect pot.  It was stamped with Something Lacy and embossed in gold.  Then I threaded a piece of the Sahara Sand Lace Trim through the slots.

Next, I added an Old Olive strip, cut with the Fringe Scissors, to the top of my pot.  The flower from Petite Petals is inked in Blackberry Bliss.  And my sentiment is on a piece of Coaster Board that’s been spritzed with Hello Honey.  Boy does the Coaster Board take ink nicely!  Finally, the sentiment in Blackberry Bliss is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.

Thanks for stopping by.
