Hi! Welcome to my blog. I have had soo much fun creating for Kylie Bertucci’s monthly challenge gallery. This month, the theme was to use favorite Sale a Bration or Occasions Catalog products. I used Petal Palette for International Blog Highlights. You’re going to love the card! and I’d love for you to VOTE for it HERE. My card is number 29. The top ten selections in the gallery will participate in a hop next month. Your vote will help me to be in that top 10!!
Petal Palette for International Blog Highlights
For my card, I started with one of the Tutti Frutti cards and envelopes.
Over the card base, I added a piece of Pool Party cardstock.
Then in the center of the panel, I stamped two rows of
the watercolor dots from Petal Palette.
They kind of tie in the dots from the card base.
Continuing from the bottom, I used dies from Petals and More to cut
a piece of Petal Garden designer paper and Silver Glimmer Paper.
The Petal Garden designer paper adds a small pop of additional color.
And who doesn’t love that filigree die cut!?!
Next, I stamped images from Cake Soiree and used the coordinating
Sweet Cake Framelits to cut out the images.
For the focal image, I stamped the rose cluster from Petal Palette in Archival Basic Gray.
Then, I colored the image using Stampin’ Blends.
After cutting the rose cluster with a Petals and More die,
I added loops of Silver Metallic Thread and a left over Silver Glimmer Paper frame.
Using a Sweet Cake Framelits die, I cut all of the green sprigs that I’ve tucked in.
They’re perfect for adding a sense of depth and airiness.
And finally, I added some Iridescent Sequins for a touch more bling.
