Life is good. It’s been a beautiful month so far — all the lovely color! The sunset here last night was glorious! And, I enjoyed a beautiful sunrise this morning. Yesterday, I spent a little time with a neighbor as we performed the raking dash. What is that you ask? It’s what happens when you hear the leaf sucking truck making its way through the neighborhood and the last two trees dropped their leaves the night before on your front lawn. Believe it or not — it was fun!
Tomorrow, I’m participating in the annual Fall craft show at the high school. I’m looking forward to spending the day with the many shoppers who will come through!
Today, I wanted to create something that will hold a “thank you” for my November customers. I’m sure they will enjoy using their gift next month!
Plus, it’s a good Fast Friday card.
I turned to GDP061 for my color combination. I love it! I’ve been looking at it all week and finally had time to play with it this morning.
There are some great images in the Perfectly Wrapped stamp set. They made for an easy, graphic card.
The color combination is Sweet Sugarplum, Emerald Envy and Basic Black.
This is a 3 x 3 card with a Basic Black cardstock base.
The Whisper White layer measures 2-7/8″ x 2-7/8″.
I inked the back side of the dotted image from Perfectly Wrapped with Sweet Sugarplum and stamped off before adding the image to the Whisper White layer.
Then, I turned the stamp over so the dots were face up and inked them in Sweet Sugarplum and stamped in the bar that I created using the back of the stamp.
Next, I inked the dotted circle image with Versamark and Memento Black and stamped on Vellum before heat embossing with Clear powder.
The embossed circle was cut out using the 2″ Circle Punch and offset to the left. The overhanging bit of the circle was trimmed by hand. I used Multipurpose Glue behind the embossed dots to adhere the Vellum piece — they nicely hid the adhesive!
“Thanks” is also from Perfectly Wrapped. It was inked in Emerald Envy.
The card was finished with a trio of Basic Rhinestones and a bit of Emerald Envy Thick Baker’s Twine — it was in the July Paper Pumpkin Kit. I’ve been hoarding the left overs from my kits! BTW – the kits and refills are still available.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my Perfectly Wrapped Thank You card.
