Perennial Birthday Sour Cream Container

Hi!  Welcome to my blog today.  So yesterday, I drove across the state to hear my daughter perform.  We had dinner afterwards and then I hit the road home.  I got in about 5:30 this morning.  It’s been a long time since I’ve been up for 24 hours or more!  Anyway, before I left yesterday, I put together this Perennial Birthday Sour Cream Container filled with treats to give to my daughter.  I was already proud of her before I left.  See, she was originally to accompany the vocalist for one song.  But, at the drop of a hat she was asked if she could play solo for 30 minutes.  Without skipping a beat, she said, “yes, of course”!  I’m proud of her and amazed by her!!

Perennial Birthday Sour Cream Container

 

 

I created the sour cream container from half of a Striped Treat Bag.

I love the shiny gold stripes.

And since I wanted something a little over the top for her, this was perfect!

 

 

While the stamp set may be called Perennial Birthday, the sentiments work

for lots of reasons beyond birthday!

After stamping in Night of Navy, I cut out the sentiment with the Everyday Label Punch.

Then, I added the gold embossed dots.

Next, I added a Gold Foil Paper die cut and a gold Mini Tassel

that I tied onto the tag with Whisper White Baker’s Twine.

Using a Gold Binder Clip, I attached the tag bundle to the top of the sour cream container.

And to finish it off, I tied on a Night of Navy Corduroy Ribbon bow.
