Hi! Welcome to my blog. Today it’s time for the A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop Wildflower Wishes. We will be sharing lots of alternative ideas using the February Paper Pumpkin Kit. I hope you’ve got your kit ready! Because you’re going to want to try some of these alternatives. But if you’ve already made your kit, don’t forget that there are refills available — while supplies last. Let’s hop!
A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop Wildflower Wishes
The February 2018 Paper Pumpkin Kit was full of goodies!
For my alternative card using the Wildflower Wishes kit,
I started with the Crumb Cake card base from the kt.
Then, I added a layer of Whole Lot of Lovely designer paper.
Next after trimming, I used one of the Crumb Cake layer pieces in the kit.
Then, I added a Whisper White focal layer.
I stamped an image from Wildflower Wishes in Tempting Turquoise
before adding some of the die cut vellum and stickers.
Using the Everyday Label Punch, I created a tag shape on which I stamped “thank you” and more flowers.
Then, I used a piece that I trimmed from the layering card and stamped “so much”.
To finish the card, I added loops of Black Metallic Thread and some pearls.

Project 2
For my second project, I made a self closing box using one of the card bases from the kit.
To coordinate with the card, I added more of the Whole Lot of Lovely designer paper.
Once again, I created a larger Everyday Label Punch tag.
After stamping “celebrate” and the flowers, I used another trimmed piece from the layering card.
To embellish the tag further, I added die cut vellum and stickers.
And finally, I added loops of Linen Thread.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my Wildflower Wishes creations!

I love both of your projects but that triangle box is spectacular!
Thanks Maria! I may need to make a few more of that box.
Mmmmm…Tempting Turquoise…it really pops on your projects, especially with the black! I love your little self-closing box, I’ve never made one of those, but I love 3D projects that don’t make you undo a ribbon or rip them open to get the goodies out. Thanks for sharing 😀
Thanks Kimberly! You’ll have to try one of these boxes — not too hard at all.
Fantastic and fun ideas, Sara!
Thank you Rachel!
Great alternative projects, Sara! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Jenny.
Very pretty! It’s been forever since I used Tempting Turquoise and I put it on one of my cards too.
Thanks Monika! You know, I thought the same thing — it’s been forever since I’ve used Tempting Turquoise.
Wonderful projects. I love the color combination you chose. 🙂
Thanks Tricia!
