Welcome to the May A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop! Just like you, we’ve received our kits. Now, we want to share with you some alternate ideas for using the Sprinkled with Love kit from this month! They were donuts but…what else could they be? Check it all out here and then hop along to see all of the wonderful ideas being shared by the A Paper Pumpkin Thing design team!!
Sprinkled with Love Kit Alternate 1
–
–
The first thing I thought of when looking at the donut shapes
was “what do they look like when cut in half?”
Once I cut this one, it looked like purse handles to me.
I used the Gift Bag Punch Board and a piece of Tip Top Taupe cardstock
to make the purse.
Then, I decorated it with the sprinkles stamp included in the
Sprinkled with Love kit.
–
–
Next, I embossed the sprinkles in gold.
After that, I added the chocolate stripe to one of the “plain” donuts
and coated it with Fin Tip Glue so that it’s shiny!
Finally, I used a piece of 5/8″ Tip Top Taupe Mini Striped ribbon and the
gold and vanilla twine to create a tassel.

Sprinkled with Love Alternate 2
–
–
I created a different card than what was intended by
adding a piece of Blushing Bride cardstock.
The donut card helps to create a neat fold!
–
–
I used two of the images from the Sprinkled with Love stamp set
to create a random pattern.
Then, I embossed in gold.
–
–
Inside, I used two of the sentiment pieces from the stamp set inked in Soft Suede.
Finally, I added a piece of Whisper White cardstock cut with a Stitched Shapes Framelit.
Thank you for stopping by today and checking out my alternate Sprinkled with Love creations.

I’d love to be your demonstrator if you’re in the United States!
Very sweet projects, Sara! Love the gold embossing!
Thanks Dena! The gold embossing on the purse makes me think of bugle beads.
Such fun projects! Love how you glossied up the chocolate icing!
Thanks Jennifer. The Fine Tip Glue Pen is good for soo many things.
So creative! I love the gold embossed sprinkles!
Thanks Tina! They almost remind me of beading on a dress.
Love the details you added to your cards! That purse is adorable, too!
Thanks Melissa! That donut card was just what I needed to make a closure flap.
I have been on a big heat embossing kick lately. Love how you implemented that technique on your projects…subtle, but hits the WOW factor. TFS!
I agree Lori, I still find heat embossing a “Wow”.
Oooh, I love all the shinies! The chocolate looks good enough to eat. I hardly ever heat emboss (because I’m so lazy) but those little gold details are darling <3 Thanks for sharing!
I’m an “ooh” shiny girl too Kimberly!
I love the shiny frosting idea!
Thanks Monika! That’s one of my favorite ways to use the Fine Tip Glue Pen.
I love your attention to detail. The gold embossed sprinkles and the fine tip glue over the chocolate swirls is amazing. Totally love it.
Thanks Cathy!
