A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop – Giftable Greetings

This month’s kit was jammed with all kinds of great product to play with!
So, what did I do with it?
–
First, my clean and simple card.
–
–
With the stamp set, I gave a nod toward geometric.
The “flower” stamp in this month’s kit is fab!
I used Thick Whisper White for my card.
By lightly marking the middle along the edge, I was able to center my design.
To the Night of Navy that is in the kit, I added Old Olive.
For the sentiment, I used a strip that is just wider than the stamp.
I wound some of the Night of Navy Baker’s Twine around the strip.
Then, I added it using Dimensionals.
I finished with a trio of Rhinestone Basic Jewel.s

I’ve been on a little 3D — treat holder binge.
So of course my first thought after making the card was make a box!
This little clean and simple box is made from Thick Whisper White cardstock.
I stamped the half flower image on all four sides.
Tip: When you stamp the sides, pay attention to the direction the image will be seen from once the box is folded. You don’t want any of them to be upside (at least not by mistake).
For the top, I cut a separate square just a tiny bit smaller than the lid to give it a soft layer.
–
That’s it for my clean and simple alternate projects.

I’d love to be your demonstrator if you live in the United States!
Wow! I love how you have used the flower stamp from this month’s kit! I have not inked that one up yet! So cool! Thank you so much for the ideas! So happy to be hopping with you Sara! 💖
Thank you so much Carolynn! I’m sure you will do amazing things with that flower — time to get some ink on it!
Nice! The Navy and Old Olive are so good together. What a cute box with those half flowers on the edge!
Thanks Monika! I agree, they are good traditional colors together for a non-traditional look.
I love how you went geometric, and the colors you used are gender neutral–nice variation on such a flowery kit! Thanks for sharing 😀
Thanks Kimberly! Glad you like my style change for the kit.
Sara, I love your modern design with that flower stamp!
Thank you Jennifer!
