It’s usually the other way around, I get to busy with other things that I don’t have time to create. Yesterday, I created but then was so busy between volunteering and cooking for International Night that I ran out of time. I made a lovely ratatouille and an ancient Roman dip that was garlicky and yummy.
But before all of this, I played with Painted Petals for MOJO392.
I used Painted Petals to create an all over design on my background layer. And, I kept the color scheme to Crisp Cantaloup and Pistachio Pudding.

The two horizontal banners were made by layering washi on Very Vanilla cardstock. This gave the washi the stability to be used as a raised layer.
The end result was a lovely, feminine card that’s perfect for Mother’s Day, your favorite girlfriend, a wonderful volunteer, etc.
Have a lovely Saturday. It looks like it’s going to be warm enough her for a strolling lunch at the farmer’s market.
