My apologies! I’ve been a little sidetracked lately. I’m going to blame my daughter 🙂 Between it being almost time for her to go back to college, getting her ready to go, taking her back and then taking a day or two to adjust to the new normal — I’ve haven’t been sharing much. Note to self — plan ahead for this next year. I pulled out Painted Harvest and had a good play last night as I spent hours on the phone with my sister. It was a good evening! Out of it came the Painted Harvest Cookie Layer Crunch Holder that I am sharing today. It’s perfect for Fall!

Painted Harvest Cookie Layer Crunch Holder

My husband came home with Cookie Layer Crunch bars
and my first thought was “leave them here, I want to create with them”.
I matched my color scheme to the colors on their wrapper.
Then, I created a holder from a piece of Early Espresso cardstock.

After wrapping the holder with a piece of Peekaboo Peach 5/8″ Crinkled Seam Binding,
I began my stamping.
I used a couple of new items that I pre-ordered from the Holiday Catalog.
The flower from the Painted Harvest stamp set is three separate images.
I stamped in Peekaboo Peach, Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight.
Then, I stamped leaves in Old Olive and cut them with the new Leaf Punch.
To finish, I used a few sequins from the Iridescent Sequin Assortment.

Inside the holder are two Cookie Layer Crunch bars.
It makes a lovely, easy treat!

I’d love to be your demonstrator if you live in the United States!
Lisa,
Did you fussy cut the flower, or did you use a punch?
I LOVE this idea 🙂
Gina
Thanks Gina! And glad you asked. I fussy cut the flower. Though if you didn’t want to, you could use a circle punch and get close-ish.
Can you please give the size of the card stock for the holder? I love your project and would love to make some of these for my sisters. Thank you
Lisa ~ I’m always happy to share additional details for my creations with my customers. Thank you for asking.
