September is almost here and my yard is beginning to look a bit like Fall. I keep thinking it’s too early but, it probably isn’t. Last night, I was cutting designer paper from the Holiday Catalog and decided that I needed to play with some of it right away. That’s where my Painted Autumn Merry Cafe card originated. Just pulling bits and pieces out that I wanted to have a go with.

Painted Autumn Merry Cafe

I started with a piece of Crushed Curry cardstock.
Then, I stamped a random pattern with a leaf stamp from Merry Cafe.
Over that, I added a strip of Painted Autumn designer paper in a geometric pattern.
I Love that the papers have “neutral” designs on one side — not season specific!
Next, I added a strip of Cherry Cobbler 1/4″ Double Stitched Ribbon.

Using the Hexagons folder, I embossed a piece of Soft Sky.
After cutting out my Soft Suede coffee cup with the Coffee Cups Framelits,
I added a Very Vanilla sleeve with more images from Merry Cafe.
Next, I tucked in a piece of 5/8″ Burlap Ribbon that I tied with Crushed Curry Baker’s Twine.
And finished with Iridescent and Metallics Sequins.
