Hi! I’m Sara Levin the artful inker. Welcome to my blog! I’m with my sister for the next couple of days. While I’m here, we’re going to celebrate her birthday. So, I created this Over the Moon birthday card that I’m sharing with you.

Over the Moon Birthday Card

I’ve been looking for an “excuse” to ink up Over the Moon.

Since we like fun or sarcastic cards, this fits the bill.

Make your base out of Highland Heather.

With your Sponge Brayer add Balmy Blue and Garden Green

on Whisper White, for the background.

Then stamp mountains from Waterfront in Rich Razzleberry.

With a Sponge Dauber add Mango Melody for the sun

to finish your stampscape.

The cows in  Over the Moon normally face

the other direction when stamped.

Since I wanted them to walk towards the sentiment,

the cows are mirror or reverse stamped.

To make the cows even more fun,

I added some color with Stampin’ Blends

to “hair” and tail, spots and bell.

I think she’ll enjoy her card!
