When I host a party, I like to send my guests home with something. Not a trinket. Rather, I usually choose to bake something that can be eaten for breakfast. I figure this way, if they stay late they don’t have to worry about what to fix the next morning and it’s a way to bring to mind the fun evening they had.
So, when planning for my Oscar Party, I knew there had to be a little something to take home. I will be baking mini loaves of cranberry bread to send home with each guest. And this is how I will package them:
I used the Fry Box die to cut a piece of Basic Black. Once the box was assembled, I added a star from Bright and Beautiful inked with Smoky Slate (if you’ve seen the other Oscar Party posts this week, you’ll notice the theme).
After wrapping the bread in a cellophane bag, I tucked it into the box. Then, I tied the bag closed with a piece of 1/8″ Silver Ribbon. Finally, I added a Silver Glimmer Paper star to the ends of the Silver Ribbon and let them dangle like pendants.
These will be great massed on a table near the door.
Check in tomorrow for my Oscar ballots.
