OSAT Blog Hop Where The Wild Things Grow

For today’s card, I took my Pretty Perennials Bundle out for it’s maiden voyage — aka, I inked it up for the first time.  And YAY! these stamps are a breeze to create with.

Here, I’ve used the stamps in Seaside Spray (one of my favorite retiring In Colors), Misty Moonlight and Mint Macaron.

This just because card can be sent for no reason in particular or most any occasion: birthday, congratulations, thinking of you…

Over the layer of die cut Silver Foil Sheet, I added a layer of Basic Black embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder.  It adds such nice soft detail and plays well with the textural feel of the designer paper.

Often when I try out flowers for the first time, I choose non-traditional colors.  I think this helps me really see the flowers and the possibilities.  The Pretty Perennials flowers are great in shades of blue.  And, I know I’ll be playing with them in lots more color combinations!

I’m loving both the stamps and the floral accent pieces that are part of the coordinating Perennials Dies.  They add so many dimensional opportunities to your creating.
