Hi!  Welcome to my blog and the OSAT Blog Hop Silver Bells and Sea Shells.  I’m Sara Levin the artful inker.  And if you’re a regular visitor, you’ll know that this hop is a week early.  That’s because next week, most of us will be at OnStage!!   Today’s creations will all have a Christmas theme.  Let’s take a look at what I have for you.

Winter Woods Christmas Card

 

 

For this clean and simple Winter Woods card,

you’ll start with a Thick Very Vanilla base.

Then, use a Sponge Dauber to add Bright Copper Shimmer Paint

to the edges of a Very Vanilla layer.

Over that, add one another Very Vanilla layer.

 

 

At the top, add a stripe of Suite Season Specialty Washi.

Then, stamp the sentiment from Winter Woods in Versamark

and emboss with copper.

To cut out the sentiment, use the Everyday Label Punch.

 

 

Using the Into the Woods Thinlits, cut a strip of Very Vanilla

and a Very Vanilla tree.

Run the strip through the Corrugated Dynamic Embossing Folder.

Spritz the tree wit homemade Bright Copper shimmer mist.

Then, add the tree to the card.

Winter Woods Christmas Favor

 

 

For this favor, you’ll use a Clear Tiny Treat Box —

a staple in my craft room.

Cut a 1-7/8″ x 8-1/2″ strip of Very Vanilla.

Then, run it through the Corrugated Dynamic Embossing Folder.

Adhere the embossed strip with Tear and Tape.

 

 

 

After wrapping a strip of Suite Season Specialty Washi around

the treat box, cut Very Vanilla with the smallest Stitched Shapes circle.

Then, stamp and emboss pine boughs from Winter Woods in copper.

And stamp pine cones in Sahara Sand.

To cut these elements, use the Into the Woods Framelits.

Arrange the elements on the circle to finish.
