Hi! Welcome to my blog. I am once again one of the designers for the OSAT Blog Hop! I’m thrilled to return to the team. Today our theme, OSAT Blog Hop Sale A Brate the Occasion is inspired by the two new catalogs that are just over a week old. If you’re like us — you couldn’t wait to begin to play with some of the new products. We’ve got loads of inspiration to share, so make sure you check out all of the blogs in today’s hop.

OSAT Blog Hop Sale A Brate the Occasion
–
For my creations today, I used the FREE* Happy Wishes Stamp Set.
I love the font — it has the feel of a handwritten note.
And, I love the sentiments themselves — so very versatile!
–
–
I used a Flirty Flamingo cardstock base.
Then, I added a Whisper White layer
followed by a layer of Sweet Soiree Specialty designer paper.
Next, I adhered a strip of Basic Black Shimmer Ribbon.
You’ve got to see the ribbon in person to really appreciate the subtle shimmer.
For my focal image, I stamped the large sentiment from Happy Wishes in Flirty Flamingo.
Then, I cut it out by hand.
After layering it onto a piece of Basic Black, I cut it out a second time (yes, really).
–
–
After stamping “anniversary”, I added three small pearls inside three small sequins.
–
–
At the top, I finished the card with some faux drops.
To create these, I drew various sized dots with my Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Write Marker.
Then, I topped each dot with a dome from the Fine Tip Glue Pen.

Project 2
–
–
To go with my anniversary card, I made a coordinating
anniversary gift box.
Once again, I used the Happy Wishes stamp set
and the Sweet Soiree Specialty designer paper.
–
–
To make the box, I used the Lots to Love Framelits.
I LOVE – LOVE – LOVE them!!
So easy to use and the perfect size for a small gift or favor.

Hi Sara, WOW! Love your card and especially the detail with the pearls in the black sequins. Lovely box. The colors are awesome!
Thanks Pam! The pearls and sequins combo are what happens when the thinking goes something like –“it needs just one more something”.
