OSAT Blog Hop New Beginnings

The new beginning I had in mind when creating my card was re “new” ing a friendship.

We’ve all been cooped up so long!

And though I’m usually quite happy spending time in my own company,

I’m ready to reach out to a friend or two and have a socially distanced cup of coffee and a chat.

I thought I’d send this card as a little invite to plan a date and let my friends know I miss them.

But, this card could work equally well for a teacher on her/his first day of school.

I have a feeling it’s going to be a long year.

To get started, I used the same Color Blocking Technique that I shared HERE

on a scrapbook page.

Then, I did some mirror image or reverse stamping.

You can see both of these techniques in action in the video below.

Layer the die cuts for a great look.

Then embellish with Metallic Pearls and Seaside Spray Scalloped Linen Ribbon.

Nothing’s Better Than Gift Card Holder

Then, I created this gift card holder.

Perfect for a gift card to a favorite coffee shop!

This is a simple holder (I’ll share a video shortly).

You can embellish with the same details as the card.

Then cut the end with one of the Envelopes Dies.
