OSAT Blog Hop Festive Season

Stampin’ Up! Hello Harvest and Shaded Summer

For today’s card, I’ve combined the Hello Harvest Bundle and Shaded Summer. I needed something that was seasonal. That’s where the Hello Harvest Bundle from the July to December Catalog comes in with its pretty pumpkin stamp and dies.
However, I also needed small thank you in a pretty font. The Shaded Summer stamp set from the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog contained the perfect one!
Making Cards quick and Easy

Since I needed to make 50 of today’s card, I needed to think about how to make the creating faster. So, I used the pumpkin outline die from Rustic Pumpkin Dies to cut out all of my pumpkins first.
Then, I placed one negative in my Stamparatus and set up my stamp. Now all I had to do was place a pumpkin die cut in the outline, ink my stamp and repeat. No worrying that my die cut wouldn’t be lined up!
Of course, I used the Stamparatus to place the Shaded Spruce sentiment on my base layer.
But since I needed to stamp off for the Hello Harvest leaf, I stamped those using an Acrylic Block.
Hello Harvest and Shaded Spruce Thank You Card

I made these 50 Hello Harvest and Shaded Spruce thank you cards to give to a friend. You see she’s starting her holiday season by being thankful. A couple of years ago she almost died due to massive loss of blood. Now, each holiday season she holds a blood drive to both pay it back and pay it forward. I make the cards to she’ll give to each of the donors to thank them for making time on their holiday weekend. And, it’s a small way that I can honor my friend and show my appreciation for her efforts.
