Hi! I’m Sara Levin the artful inker. Welcome to my blog! Today I’m sharing a creation for the OSAT Blog Hop End of Summer back to school theme. I don’t know what “end of summer back to school” means to you, but to me it means the beginning of band season. And, we love it!!

OSAT Blog Hop End of Summer Back to School
Harvest Hellos #h2p Card

We’re at T minus 48 hours for the beginning of band season!
Some of you may know it as football season 😉
So for the OSAT Blog Hop End of Summer back to school,
I’ve tied in our tradition.
For years, I’ve made a few back to school – back to band
themed projects.
This is the last year I’ll be needing those.

You’ll start by stamping two apples using
Harvest Hellos (available September 4 or NOW when you Join My Team).
Heat emboss in white.
Then, use the coordinating Apple Builder Punch (you get a Bundle discount when you purchase these two products together).
Next, use the Hand-Lettered Prose dies to cut the letters and number.
Tip: Use the “s” and the “r” to make the number “2”.
Color the letters/number with
Dark and Light Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends.

Stamp the extra slice in Pacific Point ink.
Then cut it most of the way out with the Apple Builder Punch.
Color the skin with
Light Bermuda Bay and Light Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends
for a close match to Pacific Point.
Finish with the seeds stamp creating a border across the bottom.
I’ve created other back to school / off to college (or other new venture)
the past week or so.
See a few HERE, HERE and HERE.

Harvest Hellos for the win!! Great minds Sara 😉
Indeed! It’s the perfect back to school set….and more.
Such a clever idea to add shading to the letters!
Thanks, Martin! It kind of makes them less “flat”.
What a cute way to use this set! Thanks for sharing!
