Oh So Eclectic with Tranquil Textures

Hi! Welcome to my blog. I’m Sara Levin the artful inker. When I went to create today, I decided I wanted to play with Oh So Eclectic — I haven’t inked it up in a while. And as I looked at the stamps to decide how I wanted to proceed, I thought about the Morning Glories that bloom along a fence where I sometimes walk. I think I’ve captured some of that feel with my Oh So Eclectic with Tranquil Textures card.

Oh So Eclectic with Tranquil Textures

 

 

For today’s card, I went with a three color combo.

Mint Macaron, Berry Burst and Night of Navy

work perfectly with the Tranquil Textures

designer paper I chose.

 

 

To start, I used a Berry Burst card base followed by a

layer of Night of Navy.

Next, I embossed the Whisper White layer with the

Polka Dot Basics folder.

Over that I added a layer of Tranquil Textures designer paper

and a very narrow strip of Night of Navy.

For the Oh So Eclectic flowers, I stamped off the bottom layer

before stamping on Whisper white.

After stamping the veined layer, I cut with the Eclectic Layers Thinlits.

To create the leaves, I stamped with Mint Macaron on Mint Macaron cardstock.

To assemble, I used lots of layering.

And I finished by adding a tiny bit of ribbon for a different texture.

 

 

This pretty top fold card will go in the mail for the next order I receive.
