I’m home again after spending a few days with my mom. The weather yesterday was beautiful for driving! In fact, it’s beautiful today. The windows are open, the sun is shining and the birds are singing — ahh! It’s to be one of those soft summer days. My Oh So Eclectic in Soft Sky card is a perfect match. Let’s take a look.
Oh So Eclectic in Soft Sky
I used a Soft Sky card base.
Then, I stamped the flowers from Oh So Eclectic
in Soft Sky onto Very Vanilla cardstock.
The flowers were cut out with the Eclectic Layers Thinlits.
While I was cutting, I also used the thinlits to cut out a pair of Smoky Slate leafy stems.
The background layer is a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock.
I used one of the small texture patterns to create a background pattern.
After stamping it all over in Versamark, I embossed in Silver.
Tip: Lining up the image for an all over pattern is fairly easy. Stamp one line, then drop down and stamp with the point of the background stamp between the images already stamped. This made the spacing really simple!
To finish the card, I added a strip of Pool Party 3/8″ Shimmer Ribbon before attaching the leaves.
Then, I added loops of Silver Metallic Thread.
After attaching the flowers I added Fine Tip Glue to the centers and sprinkled with Dazzling Diamonds.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my Oh So Eclectic in Soft Sky card!
