One of my ProCraftinators team members has a birthday today! When I got up this morning, I went to work specially on a card for her. I was able to get most of the way finished before I had to dash off to Philly for an appointment today; which was followed by lunch at IKEA with my daughter. I was told I could take her back there for lunch any day. Anyway… while I’m waiting for dinner to finish cooking I’m sneaking in a little time to finish the card and this post for this Number of Years for PPA293 and PP288 card.

Number of Years for PPA293 and PP288
I used Number of Years and combined it with PPA293 and PP288
It’s been a couple of weeks since I played along with a challenge.
I loved the color combo of So Saffron, Blushing Bride and Mint Macaron. It felt like a pretty, feminine combination to use for this 50th birthday card.
For the
“50”, I stamped first in So Saffron and then cut the numbers with the Large Numbers Framelits. I can’t tell you how much I love this set of numbers!! The five and zero are attached to the card with dimensionals. They represent the shape in the sketch.
I split the sentiment on two banners. (one more than the sketch called for). Since the stamps are photopolymer, I was able to gently shape the “happy” and “birthday”. The banners were created by cutting a circle frame using the fifth and seventh smallest Circles Collection framelits.
On the opposite side of the card
is the tri color panel. Using the stem and flower images from Number of Years, I inked in Versamark and stamped to create a watermark effect. Then, I went over the flowers with clear Wink of Stella to give a little subtle shimmer.
The lovely iridescent sequins are from the February, 2016 Paper Pumpkin Kit. They were perfect! for this card. Those sequins and other exclusive embellishments are one of the reasons I love getting Paper Pumpkin.
And that’s it for my Number of Years 50th Birthday card.

Very pretty Sara. I love the way you’ve used this stamp set here. The banners surrounding the number look great. I also like the three colors of card stock stamped with the flowers. Very creative. Thanks for playing along with the Paper Players this week.
Sara, this is so pretty! I love the colors, and how you stamped on all three panels with versamark to tie them together. So glad you played along with us this week at The Paper Players!
A lovely birthday card, Sara. You certainly gave this card lots of sweet details that will make the recipient very happy. Love the banner and the watermark. I have already pinned this card for a future CASE. Thanks so much for including the PPA color challenge in your stamping fun this week!
So sweet, Sara! I love the way you’ve made the sentiments above and below the 50 into partial banners. So fun! Thanks for playing along with this week’s Pals Paper Arts color challenge.
The versemark image on the colored panels is soft and elegant. A beautiful 50th birthday card. Thanks for sharing your creativity with the Pals this week.
