I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are ready to be in full holiday mode this month. I’ve been having a mostly hate relationship with technology since early Sunday evening. My internet went down and it’s taken several days to get all the pieces back in place. Though it’s still spotty, I am finally able to post again. I do try to think of these trials with a silver lining as I usually learn something techy that I didn’t know before.
Today, I have an alternate idea for your November Paper Pumpkin Kit. If you didn’t get one of these, check out this video and then subscribe. Did you know that subscribers can purchase past kits? Plus, they make wonderful gifts! Speaking of gifts, here’s my alternate project:
As soon as I saw these cards in the kit, I knew that I wanted to make one into a belly band. Doesn’t this make for a beautiful gift box presentation?
I did add a little Silver Dazzling Details to the arms of the snowflake. The shimmer takes it up a notch.
Taking a piece of Whisper White cardstock,, I created a box (using the gift box punch board) to fit inside the belly band.
Then, I stamped a random design of snowflakes using the Lost Lagoon ink and stamps included in the kit.
Now the only decision is what to put inside.

Soooo cute!I just subscribed to your blog! I may have to try it. What how big is the box?
Celeste ~ Thanks so much! The box was a hit at my Paper Pumpkin Play Date. It measures 4″ x 4″ x 1 1/2″. They’re quite easy with the Gift Box Punch Board. I hope you’ll give them a try.
