I spent some time creating some quick, easy items for your New Year’s Eve celebration using Bright and Beautiful. But, before I get to them, I thought I’d bring you up to date on my last few days. It’s been a bit of a lovely whirlwind. I spent Christmas at my mother-in-law’s. Then we had to dash back home as I’m helping to chaperone the Easton Area High School Band on their trip to Miami and their performance at the Orange Bowl. In fact, that’s why I haven’t been able to post in the last several days. There has either been no wifi or time. But, that’s okay as we’ve been having a blast.
Sunday evening we went on a river cruise to our dinner show destination. Today, they played at Bayside, had lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe and then dinner at Mai Kai. The show at Mai Kai was fabulous! The students couldn’t quit talking about how much they had enjoyed it.
So that brings us up to date more or less. Now let’s take a look at what I have for you.
First, I created this string of stars decor piece. The larger star is an image from Bright and Beautiful. (135029) Silver Glimmer Paper was used for the smaller star. Both stars were strung on a piece of Silver Baker’s Twine.
I hung this from my lamps on my buffet. The stars will add a festive touch to a party spread. Hang them from your lamps or ceiling.
Next, I decorated a top hat that I had on hand. It’s one of those that you can pick up at most party stores.
Again, I used Bright and Beautiful along with Silver Glimmer Paper. A hatband was created using Silver Baker’s Twine.
Doesn’t it look festive?
Finally, I made this Confetti Popper and added Silver Glimmer Paper stars that had been punched with the Scattered Stars punch.
The popper is made using the Simply Scored and Envelope Punch Boards. These poppers are perfect for any party whether you want to add confetti or use it as packaging for a favor.
