Hi! Welcome to my blog. I’m Sara Levin theartfulinker an independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrator in the US. One of my favorite things about a new Annual Catalog is a new collection of In Colors. Let me introduce you to the New Stampin’ Up! In Colors 2021-23 and share some color comparisons.
New Stampin’ Up! In Colors 2021-23

The new In Colors are almost here! Tomorrow, I’ll share my first creations using all of the colors.
For today, I want to give you a look at Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, Pale Papaya, Fresh Freesia and Polished Pink. Scroll on down for some comparisons so you can see how they line up with other Stampin’ Up! colors.
Evening Evergreen

This deep green is a great addition to the green line up. Here, I’ve compared with other darker greens both current and retired that you may have in your cardstock stash to help you get a feel for where this shade sits amongst the other green.
Soft Succulent

I don’t know about you but, I often look at a new color and think, “that’s almost like x, y, z”. The color comparison helps me see the colors for themselves.
Here, I thought Soft Succulent was going to be almost exactly like Mint Macaron. Instead, it’s a lovely shade to layer with Mint Macaron and Pool Party. There’s still some of that blue but deeper.
Pale Papaya

Pale Papaya is a lovely, soft orange shade. As I pulled the package of cardstock out of my box, I was thought it reminded me of Crisp Cantaloupe. As you see here, it can play with Crisp Cantaloupe (a retired color) but, Pale Papaya is a different shade entirely. It’s going to weave in with the core colors beautifully.
Fresh Freesia

With Fresh Freesia, I thought we were getting a color almost identical to Purple Posy. As you can see, that is not the case. It’s a pretty pinky, purple that’s a bit more vibrant than some of the past favorite purples.
Polished Pink

Now, I love a bold pink! But, I did wonder if we needed another. Who was I kidding!?! Of course we do. Again, looking at the picture of the color I thought it might be more like Magenta Madness and Melon Mambo. But, it’s a bright pink unto itself!
I know I’m going to have fun playing with these new shades. And you can too! They’ll be available beginning May 4.
