Today is the first #stampingsunday where everyone creates with the same stamp set or tool/supply and we share through social media and a special Pinterest board I have set up. Have you let me know that you would like to post to this board?
This week, we are creating with Vivid Vases. Be sure to participate as this is a great way to share/see lots of ideas using it.
Sorry to be into the afternoon before sharing. I ran out of time prior to religious school this morning as I was playing with the light for the “perfect” picture. Here’s my creation:
I started with a piece of Whisper White and punched one end with the Scallop Tag Topper and then ran the piece through the Big Shot in the Woodgrain embossing folder. This piece was then spritzed with a Calypso Coral inker and alcohol mixture. Using the Circle framelits, I cut a piece of Window Sheet and stamped my image from Vivid Vases on it using Staz On. I painted the back of the window sheet with Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo, Pool Party and Daffodil Delight inker. I used a canvas heart and a striped die cut banner piece from Heartfelt ( a free Sale-A-Bration product). I inked the edges of the heart with Versamark and heat embossed with Gold embossing powder. I then added Versamark to the center of the heart and sprinkled on Heat and Stick so that I could add some Gold Stampin’ Glitter. On the striped banner, I added a piece of Watercolor Wonder washi and Basic Pearls. Underneath is a strip of Pear Pizzazz cut with the Fringe Scissors. As you move down the tag, you’ll see Retro Fresh and Watercolor Wonder washi tape. And at the bottom, I dragged the Versamark pad across and used Heat and Stick to adhere some Gold Stampin’ Glitter. The tag is finished with a tassel made from Gold Baker’s Twine that has been frayed.
Lots of texture and color today. Can you tell that I’m ready for Spring?
