Hi! Welcome to my blog. Today, I sharing a My Meadow gazebo card. Have you tried any of the Stampin’ Up! stamp sets that allow you to stampscape – aka create a landscape with stamps? I know to some, they appear a little intimidating. But, they are so, so easy to use!!
The My Meadow stamp set,
just like Waterfront HERE and Snowfront HERE,
has lots of lovely texturey bits to use for landscapes.
In fact, you could mix and match if you were so inclined!

My Meadow Gazebo Card
To make this card,
you’ll start with a Thick Whisper White card base.
Then add a layer of Blushing Bride
and a Whisper White focal panel.
After stamping the gazebo,
add Balmy Blue clouds.
Then stamp in the ground/grass with the larger
texture pieces.
You’ll use Pear Pizzazz stamping some at full strength
and some stamped off.
Next, add your trees with their Blushing Bride blossoms.
Then add tulips in Garden Green and Lovely Lipstick.
And add a little bit of the grassy tufts.
Finish with a Linen Thread bow and you got a fairly quick,
stampscape with My Meadow.

I’m curious, why use the thick whisper white? Why not just the standard Whisper White cardstock?
Good question, Jonessa! Whisper White is gorgeous for layers with its color, finish and weight. Thick Whisper White is heavier, which is why I use it for my white card bases. It gives your card a better feel, more finished.
