Mondrian Meets Arrows Embossing Folder

You never know what will inspire your creativity.  You see lots of things everyday and if you let them, they can be a jumping off point for a creation.  Here’s a case in point.

The lining of the bag we received at Leadership was Pacific Point overlaid with the pattern of the Arrows embossing folder. In random spots there are arrows that are colored in Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral and Daffodil Delight. When I started creating this morning, I thought it would be fun to recreate that lining.

Once I got started, I realized I would not be coloring in all of the arrows created with the embossing folder. That was more coloring than I could commit to today. What I decided to do instead was color in a pattern that reminded me a bit of Mondrian.

Perfect Pennants with colored arrows

Then, I added a sentiment from Perfect Pennants inked with Pacific Point.  This Whisper White layer was matted on a slightly larger piece of Pacific Point with a couple of Stampin’ Dimensionals. Using two different images from Banner Blast, I stamped with Bermuda Bay and Calypso Coral.   These were then punched with the coordinating Banner punch. Overall, it’s a fairly clean and simple design that has a little spunk.

Both Banner Blast and the coordinating Banner punch are available free with a qualifying order during Sale-A-Bration.

Be sure to get your Banner punch while it’s free.  It will carry over to the Annual Catalog and Idea Book in June where it will be a priced item.  Order here to get yours during Sale-A-Bration.

Thanks for stopping by, see you tomorrow.
