Hi! I’m Sara Levin theartfulinker an independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrator in the United States. Welcome to my blog! Today I’m sharing a Modified Diamond Point Card. It’s an easy fun fold! And a great way to use your designer paper!
Modified Diamond Point Card

This is one of those great cards that looks complicated but is really easy AND it doesn’t take a lot of supplies to create!
I’ve been seeing A LOT of Diamond Point Cards lately and decided I wanted to give them a play. But, all of the cards that I had seen were larger squares. And, I like a card that fits in a standard sized envelope and has plenty of space to write a message. So, I played with dimensions — that’s where the Modified Diamond Point Card comes in.
I’d love to share with you who designed the original square card but I have no idea.
Below, I’ve shared a PDF tutorial with three sizes for this fold and a video to walk you through the basics of making it.

For my card, I’ve used the Pattern Party Designer Paper. Do you know that this pack not only comes with 48 pieces!?! In addition, it has bright designs on one side and black and white designs on the other. Such a versatile pack!
I’ve paired two black and white designs. It’s always easy to pair designs from Stampin’ Up! designer paper packs.
Then, I’ve accented the fun fold with the flower from Tasteful Touches, a little White Crinkled Seam Binding and some Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

I love your modified point card. This may be a dumb question, but does your sentiment/message end up on the backside of the base card? I guess if you start with basic black cardstock, you just adhere a basic while cardstock for your sentiment/message. I hope I’m making sense. Thank you for sharing this beautiful card.
Hi Jovita! So glad you like the card. And, it’s not a dumb question. The sentiment/messages goes on the inside. The PDF has the additional step for when you’re using colored cardstock instead of the Basic White in the video.
