Hi! I spent some time creating today after my morning at the high school sewing. I think I’ve got this hemming thing down 😉 But, I was glad to touch base with my friend Ruth. She had her hip replaced late in the summer but is raring to go now! She’ll be helping me out with the alterations and I couldn’t be more thankful!! She is a whiz. But on to my creation. I used Merry Patterns in Tranquil Tide for a pretty, quick and easy Christmas card.

I started with a Thick Whisper White base.
Then I added what I call a micro layer of Tranquil Tide.
This layer leaves a very narrow border of Whisper White showing.
Over that is a piece of Fresh Florals designer paper in Tranquil Tide.
Though you can’t see it in the photos, I brushed the designer paper with Wink of Stella.
Lovely, lovely shimmer!!

Next, I added two different strips of Year of Cheer washi.
After that I cut a layer of Tranquil Tide cardstock and one of Shimmery White.
Tip: Since the stamps are photopolymer it is easier to cut first and then stamp.
Then I stamped and embossed an image from Merry Patterns.
To finish, I tucked in a loop of Gold Mini Sequin Trim and cut a Gold Foil snowflake.
