Memories in the Making for TSOT267

I was bad!  I frittered my day away yesterday.  I was so excited about being able to see what was in the 2016-17 Annual Catalog (demonstrators get to see it early) and to know what would be on the Retiring List, that I didn’t get much done while I waited.  The catalog and retiring list became available late in the afternoon.  And then I got less done for needed to spend some quality time with both.  As you may know, items on the retiring list are while supplies last and I wanted to see what I needed before it was gone.  And the new catalog — let me just say, I L=O=V=E this time of year!

For my creation today, I used Making Memories for my design team card for TSOT267

Memories in the Making for TSOT267 from

This week it’s a sketch challenge and an optional challenge to use pastel.

The card base is Mint Macaron and is layered with a piece of Birthday Bouquet designer paper.

The focal layer is Whisper White that has been stamped with the scribbled circle from Making Memories.  The circle was masked and then inked in Mint Macaron.

Next is a strip of Blushing Bride layered with a strip of Mint Macaron.  The Mint Macaron strip has been stamped repeatedly with the cluster dot image that was inked with Mint Macaron.

A 3/4″ circle of Whisper White was added, onto which was placed two flowers from Making Memories that had been inked in Blushing Bride.

This layer was finished with a strip of connected Basic Pearls and one small pearl in the center of the flowers.

The sentiment was stamped in Blushing Bride on a 1″ Whisper White circle and layered on a small strip of Blushing Bride cardstock.

That’s it for my clean and simple card for TSOT267 using Making Memories.

Thanks for stopping by.
