Hi! Welcome to the the Top Ten International Blog Highlights Blog Hop!! Today’s hop is hosted by Kylie Bertucci from Australia. And, those of us participating were all winners in April’s Wedding card competition. Thank you for voting for our creations! Since the previous theme was Wedding, it goes without saying that our theme today is also Wedding. Here’s my winning card. A Birthday Blooms Wedding card.
This bold card uses a fun technique!
You can see the details here.
Today, I made another
Birthday Blooms Wedding Card
I started with this one layer card.
It used Very Vanilla for the base and the layer.
The large flower image from Birthday Blooms
was stamped repeatedly in Versamark.
Then, I heat embossed the images in Gold.
And it was lovely!
But, I decided to step it up.
For this version, I stamped an additional flower on Very Vanilla.
After heat embossing in Gold, I fussy cut the blossom.
Then, I added it to the card using Dimensionals.
This made the card a little more interesting.
But, there’s more!
Stepping it up just a little more, I added Gold Metallic Thread.
The airy loops help to add some appearance of dimension.
Plus, it adds a little more bling!
Then, I decided on one more change.
Using a Blender Pen, I added a few touches of Blushing Bride ink
to the raised blossom.
That hint of color raises the card to another level!
Here’s a little closer look.
This card would be equally nice embossed with Copper!
