My March Paper Pumpkin arrived this weekend and I sat right down and started creating alternatives to share with you. Today, I have Alternate 1 for the March 2021 Paper Pumpkin Here’s to You along with a video tutorial.

March 2021 Paper Pumpkin Here’s to You Alternate 1

The March Paper Pumpkin kit has such a pretty color combination!  Petal Pink, Seaside Spray, Bumblebee, Old Olive, Pretty Peacock and Calypso Coral. 

As soon as I saw the card base I knew I wanted to I riff off of it!  It’s kind of the same but amped up a little bit.

One of the things that I love about Stampin’ Up! is the coordinating colors.  So when you have cardstock, you also have ink that matches…and layers.

I used the Here’s to You trees stamp to layer trees to add some visual texture to my background layer.

And, I added a matte from Pretty Peacock.  This is one of the Retiring In Colors.  So, if you like it grab it quickly before it sells out!

At the top, I added some birds and the sentiment on a piece of Calypso Coral.  Then, I accented with Elegant Faceted Dots.  They’re perfect because they blend and add a little something all at the same time.
