Hi!  Welcome to my blog.  I’m Sara Levin the artful inker.  It’s hard to believe it was Thanksgiving yesterday 😉  — at least in my creative world.  It’s the time of year the we creatives are switching back and forth between holidays.  If you’re like me, you want to create for them all.   So today it’s Christmas and,  I’ve got a Making Christmas Bright Gift Tag two ways for you!

 

Making Christmas Bright Gift Tag

 

 

For this tag, you’ll need to cut a piece of Gorgeous Grape

to 2-5/8″ x 4-3/4″.

Then, use the Detailed Trio Punch to round the corners

and cut the slot for the ribbon.

 

 

Next, use the little star in Making Christmas Bright and stamp

a random pattern in Gorgeous Grape.

Then, stamp the strings of stars three times in Versamark

and heat emboss with silver.

After adding a strip of Suite Season Specialty Washi,

use the Twinkle Builder Punch to cut stars from Galvanized Metallic Paper.

 

 

At the top, thread Gorgeous Grape 1/4″ Mini Striped Ribbon

and Silver Mini Sequin Trim through the slot.

Then, tie them together with Silver and Whisper White Baker’s Twine.

 

 

On the first tag, we stopped with a 2-1/4″ Circle Punch

from Whisper White stamped with the sparkly wreath

from Making Christmas Bright.

That left plenty of room to write a name or short message.

 

 

To step it up, use the Everyday Label Punch to cut a 3/4″ wide

strip of Gorgeous Grape.

Then, cut Silver Glimmer Paper with the 1-1/8″ Scallop Circle Punch.

With the Classic Label Punch, cut a strip of Whisper White.

Then finish by layering everything on with Dimensionals

(they make everything better.  🙂  )
