Yesterday was a bit gloomy during my picture taking portion of the day. I’m not a gifted editor — there was just no way I could make the pictures I took presentable. So, I just gave up and waited for today. You’ll definitely want to keep reading after you take a look at my clean and simple Seasonally Scattered card. There are lots of offers over the next few days.
I struggle with photos when I have some glitz on my card. I always want you to be able to see how shiny/sparkly it is in person.
For this clean and simple Seasonally Scattered card, I stamped it twice on Very Vanilla cardstock and heat embossed with Gold embossing powder. The images were layered to give the overall card a little more interest.
In this second shot, you can see how the top layer is just a little smaller than the stamped image so that bits of the one stamped on the base peek out.
I’ve added just the gold thread from Gold Baker’s twine at the corners to enhance the impression of the gold tendrils in the image.
Then, the card was finished with a scattering of medium Basic Pearls.
