What an absolutely gorgeous day we had today!! I was sitting in the car for a while waiting to pick someone up and I think I got a little suntan through the front windshield. It was so warm and cozy, I didn’t mind waiting at all.
I’m super excited about how well the invitation samples I created were received. We did some mixing and matching at our meeting and they have a really amazing invitation — even if I say so myself!!
After dropping some cards in the mail, it was finally time to get down to creating today. I went with clean and simple.
This is my first play with Lucky Elephant.
He’s so fun, I can’t wait to play with him again!
This time, I started with a Watermelon Wonder card base.
Over that is a layer of Whisper White cardstock that was attached with Dimensionals.
First, I inked the elephant stamp with Bermuda Bay.
Before stamping, I painted Versamark Ink Refill onto the saddle portion of the stamp.
Once my image was on the Whisper White layer, I heat embossed the saddle in Silver.
Next, I dotted on some Fine Tip Glue Pen and shook on some Sprinkles Embellishments.
Sooo much easier than placing them one at a time!!!
They stick where there’s glue and the rest I just tipped back into the container for another day.
Finally, I added the sentiment from Lucky Elephant.
The “good luck” stamp was inked with Versamark and then Watermelon Wonder before stamping onto the Vellum.
Then, the sentiment was heat embossed with Clear before attaching it with Multipurpose Glue.
Thanks for stopping by today and checking out my Lucky Elephant card!
