Little Sunshine for Creation Station

Welcome to my blog.  I’m Sara Levin the artful inker.   Thanks for joining us for today’s edition of Creation Station.  Today we’re creating with a baby theme and I’m focusing on Little Sunshine from the Occasions Catalog.  While I’ve used the set several times, this is the first time that I’ve used it with a baby in mind.  Let’s check out my Little Sunshine for Creation Station baby themed projects!

Little Sunshine Berry Basket Baby gift

I started by thinking about about a shower present

After creating custom designs on a couple of onesies using My Digital Studio, I wrapped them in a cellophane bag.  The bag fit perfectly into the basket made with the Berry Basket Bigz die.  I was pleased to find that the border image in the Little Sunshine stamp set fits on the collar piece for the basket.  So I get the wave of the image repeated by the scallop on the collar piece!

Next, I tied the cellophane bag with a piece of Sahara Sand Lace trim and threaded through a piece of Gold Sequin trim.  Might as well start her off with a little bling.  I finished with an accordion heart made from images stamped from Little Sunshine.

Now with a gift, you need a card.

I created a love note size card which was perfect with this gift.  But, would also make a perfect gift enclosure should you choose to package your gift differently.

I carried over the Sahara Sand Lace trim and added an In Color Sequin.  Then, I accented the word bubble with an oval embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder.

Little Sunshine Scrapbook Page

Finally, I figured a new little person needs her own scrapbook page.

There’s plenty of room for a large focal picture or a photo collage as well as space for journaling.
