Lined Alphabet with Beautiful Layers

Hi!  Welcome to my blog.  I’m Sara Levin the artful inker.  I’ve been creating and shooting videos this weekend.  And today, I’m going to share some of both with my Lined Alphabet with Beautiful Layers card.  It’s pretty and quick and easy!!

Lined Alphabet with Beautiful Layers

 

 

For my card, I used a Calypso Coral base with a Whisper White focal layer.

Did you notice I coordinated the envelope?

More on that in a bit!

 

 

First, I used a stripe of Tea Room Specialty Designer Paper.

Over that, I placed a Grapefruit Grove Beautiful Layers die cut.

Then, I cut out one of the flowers from a sheet of the Tea Room paper.

Beside it, I tucked in a set of punched Granny Apple Green leaves.

For my sentiment, I stamped the “h” and “i” from Lined Alphabet in Calypso Coral.

I used the Stamparatus so that I could ink them three times.

Next, I colored the letters with my Light and Dark Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends.

Though there are coordinating edgelits, I chose to cut the letters out by hand.

After layering the letters onto a 1-1/2″ Circle Punch, I added some Iridescent Sequins

to finish my card.
