Before I share today’s creation using Lighthearted Leaves, I want to be sure that you know that the Holiday catalog is live today! Is that cheering in the streets I hear?
The catalog is great! But, don’t take my word for it. Check out the products or download a copy of the catalog if you don’t have a hard copy.
If you’d like a hard copy, click the “email me” button to the right and let me know. Be sure to include your address.
Now on to today’s creation. I combined Lighthearted Leaves with FabFri71
This week’s challenge was all about color: old olive; blackberry bliss; delightful dijon; tangelo twist; and tip top taupe.
I daubed a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock with Delightful Dijon and Tangelo Twist. Then using the Maple leaf from Lighthearted Leaves, I over stamped the leaf in Old Olive a couple of times to intensify the color.
Leaflets framelits were used to cut a Maple leaf shaped hole out of the Blackberry Bliss layer and to cut around the Lighthearted Leaves Maple leaf.
The Tip Top Taupe layer was cut with one of the Sleigh Ride Edgelits. I just cut off the figures on the top edge as I just wanted the nice curve. Next, I added a stripe of Bohemian designer washi.
After inlaying the Maple leaf diecut, I used the Molten Embossing technique across the entire layer. Finally, I added “Thanks” from the Expressions Natural Elements. The new Fine Tip Glue was perfect for adhering it.
Thanks for stopping by and don’t forget to take a look at the Holiday Catalog.
Then, help me meet my goal this month: fifty $20 orders.

Sara – This is beautiful! I love the way you’ve colored the leaf – and the arc of your lower panel is inspired. Thanks for playing along with this FabFriday color challenge.
Great combination of new products on your card. I really like the coloring on the leaf and the embossed splatters! Thanks for sharing at Fab Friday!
